Skint Eastwood - Salaamin (Prod. by Eyedress)

There’s not much information to share about this brand new track from Skint Eastwood, with production and video work from Eyedress, but what it lacks in paperwork, it makes up for in re-play-ability.

Salaamin is a shimmering electro-pop track straight out of the Philippines, with a soft and characterful female vocal, thrown back in abandon as it chants “this too shall pass”. Watch the Eyedress-directed video above, featuring the kind of self-conscious, minutely-seductive dancing usually reserved for packed dancefloors, here rubbing shoulders with the huge open landscapes of nature. It’s coy, unusual, and frustratingly over before it should be.
