Sasha Go Hard - I Think I Like That

The video for Sasha Go Hard’s I Think I Like That is filled with slow, sun-washed scenes and features the rapper cooling with her friends. The song is basically about going out and the chorus is flirty but Sasha’s hard-edged flow doesn’t pull any punches in its detail. It’s also a response to fellow Chicago resident Chief Keef’s anthemic I Don’t Like but this isn’t some stock battle of the sexes reply. Instead, with the aid of shared producer Young Chop, Sasha creates a counterbalance that has the minimal dynamics of the original but channels it in a another way to make the most of her open swagger. Sasha Go Hard’s first mixtape ‘Do You Know Who I Am’ will come out on the 9th of July.
