Real Life – Deeper

Real Life are a London trio who have just released their first song, Deeper, with a video directed by Rollo Jackson. Rollo’s previous work – including Tapecrackers, a film about jungle radio recordists, and Showtime, a DVD of Heatwave’s grime / dancehall showdown – it’s a sincere and starry-eyed take on inner-city life.

The song itself is a delicate electro tune, close in spirit to New Order’s even-softer-than-usual moments, and has pretty lyrics about flats that reek of weed and drinking red wine in the club. No details are available at present, but do keep an eye out.
