We sit down the NLV Records boss to discuss running a label and the Australian music explosion.
We've been following Nina Las Vegas' burgeoning NLV Records for some time now. As an imprint that solidly supports the music scene in Nina's home of Australia, she's brought together some of her home turf's hottest exports to create a tight-knit label family that includes the likes of Stict Face, Air Max 97, and Swick.
Alongside being the boss at NLV Records, Nina is an extremely able producer and DJ herself, working with Snappy Jit on the dance floor snare-trap Contagious (by track name, by nature) last year. It was high time Dummy sat down with Nina, so Shan McGinley took the opportunity to catch up during her European tour.
Watch the interview above and expect chat that jumps from life running a flourishing label, her relationship with the NLV Records artists, and the Australian explosion we're witnessing in electronic music right now.
