Premiere: The-Drum - /BZE

It was back in April that Dummy first cottoned on to the music of Chicago duo The-Drum (read Paul Paul Stigliano’s feature on them), and since then we’ve been hooked. They’ve got that skin-on-skin evoking sound down. The R&B-stretching pair released their ‘Sense Net’ EP via NYC’s Mishka in July (check /SYS here) and apparently there’ll be a new EP and a full-length on the way in spring. For now, though, enjoy the video to ‘Sense Net’ track /BZE. Directed by Igor Ivanov, in it we enter a Sonic The Hedgehog-esque platform world, in which the track’s beats act as aural triggers for atmospheric changes in the charmingly naive digital landscapes.
