Premiere: Mariam The Believer - Above The World

Scandinavian dark pop singer Mariam The Believer may be familiar to a few of you as Mariam Wallentin, a member of mid-to-late-'00s pop group Wildbirds & Peacedrums. She released 'Blood Donation', her debut album under her new name, through Moshi Moshi late last year (criminally, it passed under our radar at the time of its release) and is about to embark on a sizeable European tour in support of it.

Before she leaves, however, she's shared the video for the brilliant Above The World, which features enough foreboding woods, druid cloaks, and contorting limbs to scare you right down to the bone. Actually, we jest – it's a suitably mystical video, but like the song, it's all in good humour and has a neat, glammy undertone.
