Premiere: Jarbird - Such Is The House

After dropping the track online in demo form last year – which saw them being picked up by French indie label Oskar – London outfit Jarbird have released the official video for debut Such Is The House, the lead single from the band’s debut EP expected in early 2016. 

The four-piece found its roots at Leeds University where vocalist Ric and cellist/vocalist Lara were studying, returning home to London to recruit bass player Jim and drummer Rami (who at the time, was manning a successful chilli dog stand…oooh give us one).
 
With a goal to sound like no other band out there, the quartet are already ticking the boxes; leading the way with this ethereal slice of contemporary pop and their mind-bending video, that features a protagonist doused in a strange sense of self-consciousness, questioning how he feels in his own skin.
