Premiere: Egyptian Hip Hop - Tobago

Egyptian Hip Hop have shared the video for newest single Tobago, the opening track from their excellent debut album ‘GOOD DONT SLEEP’. It’s a re-recorded version, with additional vocals appearing in the mix – something which doesn’t really change the song too much, but which does lend it a slightly odder feeling, bringing it closer to the sort of eccentric 80s groups like Talking Heads and Oingo Boingo that the band have expressed admiration for in the past. The video itself seems to resemble those from the brilliant disturbed minds of outsiders like Tonetta, but we might be overanalysing this completely.
