Planningtorock - Misxgyny Drxp Dead

Track titles can be extremely powerful, evocative things, yet a quick glance over Dummy’s most recent new music posts reveals abstract and meaningless names like Wolves, Junes and Mirrors. When it comes to names, musicians could learn a thing or two from Planningtorock. PTR’s new single – due for release on International Women’s Day – is the bluntly and brilliantly titled Misogyny Drop Dead, a track which follows on from last year’s IWD single Patriarchy Over & Out – a song which acted as a springboard for a brilliant comment piece from Steph Kretowicz that we really can’t recommended enough. Misogyny Drop Dead might just be the best thing that 2013 has had to offer so far, and the song has now received a video that was directed by PTR herself.
