patten - Towards infinite shores

Following on from his recent video for Aviary, new Warp signing patten has dropped a video for Towards infinite shores, taken from his 'EOLIAN INSTATE' EP. As tends to be the case for patten, the video comes directed by Jane Eastlight, and was originally exhibited at the MoMA.

Eastlight's video is experimental in the sense that it seems to be experimenting with the actual materials of the video, resulting in a hypnotic visual without much obvious structure to it. A fine match for patten's music, then.

In related news, Kaleidoscope, the label run by patten, recently released a very meta new video (also directed by Eastlight) for Pass, by the label's popstar-of-sorts ALAK.

Warp will release the 'EOLIAN INSTATE' EP on November 26th 2013.
