Outfit - House On Fire

Outfit's 'Performance', released earlier this week, was the recipient of the highest of all accolades – higher than a Grammy, or a feature in a hip sitcom, or an endoresement from Beyonce on Twitter – the Dummy album of the week.

The lead single from that very fine album is House On Fire, and Dazed Digital are premiering the video for the song. Directed by Vancouver artist Sara Ludy, the video is a constant sideways tracking shot of a surreal, Grim Fandango-esque house. Cheap-looking CD-ROM graphics are ten-a-penny right now, but they usually focus on smooth textures and uncanny recreations of pre-existing objects – this video is just gritty and twisted.
