Octa Octa - I'm Trying

One of 2011’s most talked about tracks [at least on the tiny corner of the internet where mutant disco records released on 100% Silk are heavily discussed] was Brooklyn artist Octa Octa’s I’m Trying. This shimmering, echoey and groovy B-side, taken from his sold-out 100% Silk-released ‘High Reflection’ EP, has now received a visual treatment. Directed by Christopher Cote, this flashy animated video explodes with colours and no doubt goes along with the sultry house grooves and Amerie’s sharp and chopped-up vocals. Watch it above.
