Napolian - False Memories

LA producer Napolian first came to my attention via his seamless remix of Oneohtrix Point Never’s Up (listen to it here) late last year. Now he’s turned in an EP titled ‘Rejoice’ for OPN and Joel Ford’s Software label, which was released yesterday. Standout track False Memories fittingly toys with musical echoes of past and present, with Prince-esque drums and Rustie sized synth stabs converging in a sonic purple haze that’s echoed in this hypnotic new video.
