Lockah - Guards Red Carrera

Lockah is one of a crop of independent Scottish talent adapting the brightest lights of electronic production particularly well. His latest EP ‘Only Built 4 Neon Nites’ is a basically a soundtrack to a short film of someone taking a ridiculously sleek supercar out for a spin on a balmy evening. The video for Guards Red Carrera – a loose re-make of ‘Drive’ – knows that the roads in Zone 9 aren’t sprawling highways and you don’t win hearts in hand-to-hand combat with criminal flunkies, but it’s still a very fun and really quite noble aspiration, right?
