Koreless - Lost In Tokyo

For his Essential Mix on Radio 1, Jamie xx included this unreleased track by Glasgow-based producer Koreless. His single 4D on Pictures Music was a lovely piece of bristling atmospheric garage, and this new tune shows a similarly high standard – drums prick beguilingly, and the restraint in his production is truly striking. Someone has uploaded the track to Youtube (along with a bit of the subsequent mix into Floating Points’ Sais (Dub)) accompanied by some footage of Japan at night, which fits the desolate, sparse, beauty of the track wonderfully.
