Julia Holter - Goddess Eyes II

Deus ex machina, the literary plot device in which something appears almost out of nowhere to resolve a seemingly unresolvable plot: apparently, this device is the inspiration behind Julia Holter’s new video for Goddess Eyes II, directed by Yelena Zhelezov. It might be hard to see this theme running through the video, though – the set looks so distractingly similar to the one used in Art Attack that it’s hard to think of anything else. Goddess Eyes II is taken from Julia Holter’s thoroughly wonderful album ‘Ekstasis’, released earlier this year on RVNG but receiving a European release on Domino next week.

Domino will re-release ‘Ekstasis’ on 3rd December. The Godess Eyes single will be released on 10th December.
