Jessie Ware - What You Won't Do For Love

While out on her American travels in January, Jessie Ware recorded this candlelit performance of What You Won’t Do For Love – which you may recall she first shared a Sampha-produced cover of last summer. It was shot by Yours Truly – who were also recently responsible for this excellent Darkstar live video – in a flower shop out in Hayes Valley, San Francisco. Things start with Jessie talking openly about lurve ‘n’ stuff, and why “bittersweet songs” are usually her favourite – before launching into her stripped back take on Bobby Caldwell’s soul classic.
