James Blake - Voyeur

James Blake’s Voyeur has been given a nifty visual, animated by Ferry Gouw, ahead of the track’s dub version being the first release for party-turned-label 1-800 Dinosaur, which James co-runs. Starting out with a 1-800 Dinosaur vinyl spinning on a deck, the film then zooms in and surfs along the vinyl’s grooves for a while, before entering a blocked and blackened space. Smoothly following the track’s build, lights starts to seep into the darkened environment, before eventually bursting into a heap of kaleidoscopic colour around the three-and-a-half minute mark.

In other James Blake news, having collaborated with RZA for ‘Overgrown’, FACT note that in a recent interview for Juno Plus, 1-800 Dinosaur associate Dan Foat stated that James might, just might, be working with Kendrick Lamar on material for the label.
