Hervé - Save Me (feat. Austra)

This first single off Hervé‘s forthcoming ‘The Art Of Disappearing’ LP displayed impressive mercuriality: easing up on recent gritty electro efforts for a haunting collaboration with Katie Stelmanis from Austra.

The track’s video builds on that mood with a slew of low-fidelity camera images; shots include frost-bitten branches edging towards a winter sky, interspersed with those of a dimly-lit block of flats, and an unnerving woman clutching a torch. At times the sections in the frost feel a tad Blair Witch, but overall its grainy atmosphere whips up a more-than-appropriate air of foreboding.
