Abel Tesfaye, better known as The Weeknd, stopped by his home city of Toronto for a show recently, and took the chance to the next track expected on forthcoming first album proper, ‘Kiss Land’. Following on the back of the sprawling title track, and with a name pencilled in as ‘Belong To The World’, this one sounds most notable for its sped-up, manipulated sample of the ammunition blasts of Portishead’s Machine Gun. The Weeknd’s debut album is due later this year.
