Grown Folk x Main Attrakionz - I.C.E.

With the stratospheric success of the likes of Jacques Greene and Lunice in recent years, Montreal is becoming a city to be reckoned with when it comes to electronic producers. Step in, Grown Folk.

Grown Folk are a US-born, Montreal-dwelling duo whose love for hip hop brought them to collaborate with Main Attrakionz, the Oakland MCs who spoke to Dummy’s own Ruth Saxelby last year. The collaboration has resulted in their new Cloud City EP, which is released on Templar Sound on March 11th on vinyl and digital. The two tracks ‘Double M.O.B.’ and ‘I.C.E.’ are also remixed by Kuedo, lending a darker edge to their ethereal take on rap production.
