Grimes live at SXSW 2012

“How long should I play for?” Claire Boucher aka Grimes took the stage last night in trademark scatty but endearing style at last night’s packed Spotify party on top of a carpark rooftop in downtown Austin. The sun just beginning to set and a light breeze made the cityscape backdrop feel all the more dramatic. It was a strong, confident and fun performance, with Claire joined on stage by a band member on drum pads [see below]. Smiling into the crowd and dancing wildly as the light fell, it felt like she knew this was a moment as much as everyone there.
