Gray Things - I Want It To Live

Gray Things is the alias of Mississippi-based musician Thomas Cooper, and his new single, ‘Girl’, finds its home on Make Mine, who have previously released singles by Antwerp, Tourist and and Disclosure. We caught up with Gray Things recently to discuss I Want It To Live, which has now received an accompanying video. I Want It To Live was recorded at the excellently-named Cats Purring Dude Ranch in Oxford, Mississippi, and feels so slow that it’s as if the beat is laboriously dragging the thin synths across its four minute running time.
