Eaux - New Peaks

We’re already fans of New Peaks, the most recent track shared from London trio Eaux’s ‘i’ EP, and the track has now got a music video to accompany it.

The video is one of urban paranoia, a Super 8 camera darting rapidly through empty underpasses and lonely inner-city environments at night whilst the sound of Eaux’s icy post-punk overlays it. Like Beat Connection’s new video, which we posted earlier this week, this definitely has an early-00s Channel 4 vibe about it, which is unsurprising when you realise that veteran music video director (and one time Jesus & Mary Chain man) Douglas Hart was behind it – during the early to mid-00s, Hart worked on videos for many of the biggest London-based indie rockers of the time, helping define the visual aesthetic of the era.

Morning Ritual Records will release Eaux’s debut EP ‘i’ on the 19th November.
