Earl Sweatshirt is shy

It’s looking like Odd Future’s missing younger member has a lot to catch up with since their rise to fame after dropping his debut EARL and being shipped off to reformatory school on the Samoan Islands in 2010. After rumours of his return he’s finally surfaced in an interview with Hot 97’s Peter Rosenberg.

Appearing alongside always catnankerous Tyler the Creator and self-confessed hanger-on Taco, he has some clever things to say, among them refuting the suggestion that his mum sent him away because she didn’t like his music.

“Motherfuckers think that my mom heard a song and was like, ‘No, I’m not fucking with this song’. I was fucking up. Outside of music, music aside from everything, I was fucking up.”
