Doomsquad - Waka Waka

It's a busy week for Doomsquad: they've already had a track with Digits premiered by yours truly, and now here's a video for Waka Waka. The track picks up where Disremember/Dismemberment left off with its heady blend of techno, dub, disco and post-punk, carrying the kind of malleability that stood out on La Big Vic's debut last year.

The video features a Frida Kahlo lookalike giving tarot readings in space, because why not. This is one of biggest sounding tracks Doomsquad have shared – and there's something of the seedy drama of SSION in how that disco backbeat erupts a few minutes in. We hope for plenty more space disco excursions from their debut 'Kalaboogie', which drops in a few weeks time.
