Daft Punk release the newest episode of 'The Collaborators'

In the run up to the monumentally hyped new Daft Punk album ‘Random Access Memories’, The Creator’s Project have been interviewing collaborators and releasing them as a series. Given that it’s all promo for the new album, the focus is very much on the collaborators’ relationship with Daft Punk, but it’s full of enough tidbits to get fans salivating.

Following a recent interview with (one of this author’s heroes) Giorgio Moroder comes the revelation that Todd ‘The God’ Edwards will appear on the album. Todd Edwards has been an inescapable influence in dance music for many years as the pioneer of the chopped up sampling style of New Jersey garage, and in the past couple of years has undergone something of a renaissance. This isn’t his first run in with the robots – on ‘Discovery’ he was both a co-producer and vocalist of the astounding Face To Face. Also, Todd appears to be wearing an Italians Do It Better t-shirt, which is cool.
