Chromatics – Lady

Released to world with an information pack almost as minimal as its drum patterns is the new Chromatics video, shot by Rhys Balmer and Alberto Rossini. Their album was promised in January, but considering it’s taken the Portland band five years to follow their peerless album ‘Night Drive’ [Italians Do It Better, 2007], we’re just excited to post new music. Like much of their output, it follows a straight structure – minimal, delicate production, a voice that speaks of the darkness at the heart of the night, cloaked in the sumptuous visuals of disco’s height. Italians don’t do it better, no-one does.
