Cassie - End Of The Line

Following a recent Weeknd-styled mixtape trilogy made in her honour, Cassie has released a video for new single End Of The Line. When writing about the mixtape, Dummy’s Robert Darnell commented that “[i]t’s starting to look like Cassie’s career has reached a point where widespread commercial success may have eluded her – but in certain circles, she’s nothing short of a superstar.” This is none more evident in the video for End Of The Line, a surprisingly low-rent affair that features Cassie in the middle of nowhere and…well, little else. But even if the labels seem reluctant to pay premium rates for her videos, Cassie will always remain a superstar to us, and so any suggestion that her much-mooted second album is getting closer to release will grab our attention.
