Cadenza - The Darkest Hype ft. Deena Jonez

NYC-based rapper Deena Jonez steps up for this new video for her vocal version of Oliver Rodigan’s, aka Cadenza’s huge track The Darkest Hype. Out in July on Dummy Records, Rodigan’s dancefloor-swarming production was discovered by Jonez last year, leading to her inclusion of it on her mixtape ‘Famously Unknown’ underneath her own fiery verses. The new video, directed by Simon Gooden, reflects Cadenza’s and Jonez’s cross-atlantic collaboration, as Jonez is carried onscreen through the streets of London, and her dead-on camera-facing delivery is a force to be reckoned with.
