Blludd Relations - Even Steven

The first video for Bullion and Jesse Hackett’s collaborative Blludd Relations project is our first proper introduction to the duo who have featured on their early artwork. Unfortunately, they don’t seem totally happy. The green one looks like he’s being held captive in a room with only an overbearing matron, two televisions and a whole lot of regret and longing for company, whilst the blue one floats, alone, on one of the screens with a thick dark liquid pouring out of his head. Strikingly surreal and clownishly dark, the clip – much like the track itself, featured on our recent Dummy Picks mix – is more suggestive than it is conclusive but there is much more left under the surface for later. We may still be scratching our heads but Blludd Relations know what they’re doing.
