Beau Wanzer Balls Of Steel

Premiere: Beau Wanzer - Balls Of Steel

Beau Wanzer's new video is nightmare material.

For those unfamiliar, Wanzer is a Chicago musician who makes loud noises on analogue machines (he has a lot of them). He's a member of a few groups – notably cassette sleazebags Streetwalker and Thee Mutant Beat Dance, who have released records on the likes of Rong, Rush Hour subsidiary Hour House Is Your Rush, and L.I.E.S. (their 2009 single In A Daze is a smash).

It's L.I.E.S. that Wanzer finds a home on for the elegantly named Balls Of Steel. The track is a sleazy tape beat, and mixed with its hellish video clip ends up sounding like Higher State Of Consciousness as heard through Chris Morris' Jam. The video was "sloppily filmed" by Wanzer himself.

L.I.E.S. released 'Beau Wanzer' on September 1st.
