Banks - This Is What It Feels Like

R&B-leaning singer Banks has shared the video for skeletal new single This Is What It Feels Like, apparently her first video to be shot in colour.

The song has somewhat bizarrely been given the seal of approval from Katy Perry, and its video sees Banks dancing around an empty house (it's intentionally empty, although if you only join the video halfway it does look a little like they forgot to dress the set). About midway through, a storm hits, and things get freaky.

The whole thing is pretty micro-budget but there's something charming and endearing about the way it tries to disguise that – it reminds us of Cassie's discreetly un-flashy video for End Of The Line.

Harvest Records released the 'London' EP on September 10th 2013.
