Aphex Twin performing Penderecki hits with full orchestra

Commissioned by the European Cultural Congress to compose piece for the Polish music festival, Aphex Twin worked with a full orchestra and the Polish composer Krzysztof Penderecki. Some of the results are below, including two remixes of Penderecki pieces Polymorphia and Threnody for the Victims of Hiroshima, and a video of Aphex Twin’s “remote orchestra”, in which Richard James orders a group of people to play through headphones, terrifyingly.
