Actress live at London's Tate Modern

As we previously reported, London producer Actress performed live at the Tate Modern on Saturday 24th March. In case you missed it, Actress was invited to soundtrack an event that tied in with the Tate’s Infinite Kusama exhibition of works by the truly unique Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama.

The exhibition features Kusama’s incredible installations of repeating and endless dot patterns for which Acress recreated a very intense music representation, which visitors could enjoy via headphones as part of a “silent disco”.

As he reveals in this clip by Pitchfork, Actress has never played a silent disco before, which made the musical/art performance a whole new experience for him too. The producer also added that he tried to remove himself from the work as much as he could, which made it an interesting exercise for one of the most remarkable artists of today’s musical scene.
