SpaceGhostPurrp - Been Fweago Miami rapper/producer releases a video for one of his most tense and hypnotic tracks.
SpaceGhostPurrp has been a bit insular since 4AD released the remastered ‘Mysterious Phonk…’, with most of the news coming from an unfortunate falling out with A$AP Rocky and the slew of new tracks bubbling out from the nebulous Raider Klan. After a short-lived decision to quit rap altogether he thankfully returned with the ‘B.M.W.’ EP in December, and has just dropped a short video for Been Fweago. A grainy clip based on the original, snaking mix of the song from ‘Blackland Radio 66.6 (1991)’ – it’s disappointing that it stops just as the track gets really twisted, but it’s good to be reminded of the talent and natural touch that drew all the attention in the first place.
