LCD Soundsystem – Shut Up And Play The Hits Ghosts of dance-punk-past return to slay Sundance Festival.
New York’s dance-punk outfit and DFA creator/cash-cow LCD Soundsystem bowed out in style performing their last show at Madison Square in April 2011. It’s too early for a reunion, but they are making sure they’re not forgotten just yet by dropping a deeply personal film covering the end of an era at this year’s Sundance Festival. Produced by Pulse Films, also responsible for the Grammy-nominated Blur documentary No Distance To Run, it stands to be an interesting view indeed.
