Aphex Twin performing Penderecki hits with full orchestra Richard James performances in Poland this Autumn captured on Youtube.
Commissioned by the European Cultural Congress to compose piece for the Polish music festival, Aphex Twin worked with a full orchestra and the Polish composer Krzysztof Penderecki. Some of the results are below, including two remixes of Penderecki pieces Polymorphia and Threnody for the Victims of Hiroshima, and a video of Aphex Twin’s “remote orchestra”, in which Richard James orders a group of people to play through headphones, terrifyingly.
