Metronomy – Everything Goes My Way Autumnal simplicity and delicate tones on Metronomy’s latest video.
Pastoral simplicity is the order of the day for Metronomy’s new video. Who needs sexy dance moves or strobe lights and fog machines when you can just stick a very happy looking indie band in a field with some deer and leave it at that? The colours of the autumnal countryside do fit so snugly with the slightly downbeat pop of the song and the deers are surely metaphors for something… Is this what happens when a band have to be smart about their money after blowing the budget on their previous two videos? Possibly, but either way it’s a lovely accompaniment to a beautiful little song.
