Clams Casino, the New Jersey producer releasing the ‘Rainforest’ EP on Tri Angle next week, has a slippery, gritty aesthetic based on supreme imagination and radical wandering through the ethernet. So, while the spliced footage video is not the most radical propostion around, the choice of Aguirre, the Wrath of God, Werner Herzog’s hallucinatory tale of hubristic conquistadors traveling into the the heart of the Amazon, as the stock footage is pretty fitting.
