You can watch a shakily recorded advert for the new Daft Punk album now

Daft Punk share a fair chunk of new, Pharrell-featuring single 'Get Lucky' and confirm their rumoured collaborations in a new ad.

The biggest news today is that we’re all glued to our screen watching some very shaky camera footage of an advert. Of course, it’s not just any advert, it’s an advert for the absurdly hyped new Daft Punk album, but the point still stands. The footage was filmed at Coachella, and you can hear a good chunk of the teaser single Get Lucky, featuring guitar from Nile Rodgers and vocals from beautiful man Pharrell Williams. It sounds very good. The video ends with a list confirming the rumoured collaborations: Panda Bear, Julian Casablancas, Todd Edwards, DJ Falcon, Chilly Gonzales, Giorgio Moroder, Nile Rodgers, Paul Williams and Pharrell.

All these teasers are, of course, just marketing overkill – but it works. We’re giddy with excitement. Watch the offending trailer below.

Daft Life Limited/Columbia will release ‘Random Access Memories’ on May 21st.
