Watch Missy Elliott perform at the Super Bowl halftime show

Missy Elliott was the special guest at Katy Perry's Super Bowl halftime show-cum-Illuminati ritual last night.

While not as controversial as M.I.A. flippin' the bird or as bizarre Beyoncé blowing out the power of the stadium, Katy Perry's halftime show did feature one very great guest, Missy Elliott.

She performed a medley of Get Ur Freak On, Work It, and Lose Control before promptly disappearing – but hey, any Missy is good Missy. Earlier in the show, Lenny Kraviz popped up to play along to I Kissed A Girl.
