Radiohead's 'King Of Limbs' is the best selling vinyl album of the year

A 55% rise in vinyl sales has been reported for this half of the year. Many of these were Radiohead albums.

A 55% increase in vinyl sales has been reported for the period January to June this year, a significant rise on the same period in 2010. The sale of vinyl for the first half of the year totaled 168,296 units, with Radiohead’s ‘King Of Limbs’ selling 20,771 of that, making it the biggest selling vinyl release of the year so far. Which is also a significant improvement considering the biggest seller this time last year was Paul Weller, which comparatively only sold 1,446 units. Vinyl is alive, well, selling, etc. Thanks Radiohead!
