Tri Angle signs The Haxan Cloak, prepares allstars world tour

Leading London label Tri Angle has added unsettling sound artist The Haxan Cloak to their roster of oOoOO, Balam Acab and Holy Other

Tri Angle, a London label that has had a year to envy, releasing albums by How To Dress Well, Water Boarders and Balam Acab, having tunes licensed to Beyonce commercials and coming up top in the Billboard best indie label list, has added sound artist The Haxan Cloak to their roster.

The Haxan CLoak, an artist that we have listened to a great deal but covered disgustingly little, is Bobby Krlic, a multi-instrumentalist from London. His self-titled debut album was released on noted avant metal label Aurora Borealis, and is one of the most extreme, beautiful works of the year. His more electronic-leanign EP may be sign of things to come. Release schedule is as yet unknown, but expect a great record.

In the meantime, there’s the small matter of the Tri Angle records allstars label tour, with Balam Acab, oOoOO and Holy Other calling in at the below dates. DJ support comes from Romy xx, Karenn (Pariah and Blawan) and The Haxan Cloak himself.

02/02/12 – Berghain / Berlin
03/02/12 – Trouw / Amsterdam
04/02/12 – Secret Warehouse / London
08/02/12 – AB Box / Brussels
09/02/12 – Point FMR / Paris
