Tradiio is a music discovery platform that puts fans in charge

If you've been keeping up with Dummy over the past few months, you might have heard Tradiio's name: we produced a series of short films with them, live sessions and features with the likes of Tropics, 18+, TOPS, and Bernard + Edith, with a new film set to be premiered later this week.

Tradiio is a rewards-based music discovery platform. Whereas other streaming platforms are only based around discovery and sharing, Tradiio goes one step further and lets you actively engage with the music and support it directly, investing in artists using virtual currency. 

The bands and artists that receive the most investment will rise up the Tradiio charts, with some tantalising rewards in the real world: Tradiio's partners offer slots at festivals like Field Day, access to studio time, record label meetings, and the chance to make a music video.

Good for artists, but also good for fans: the users who invest the most can win prizes like festival tickets, download store vouchers with sites like Bleep, AIAIAI headphones and Sonos speakers, and other experiences that are impossible to imitate, like invitations to intimate shows with the artists they support. It's a neat model that flips the discovery process, turning users into talent spotters.
