The Knife officially announce 'Shaking The Habitual'

Following a cryptic video posted to their website on Wednesday, The Knife have announced a release date of their new album.

Following speculation after a cryptic update was made to their website on Wednesday, The Knife have officially announced the details of their forthcoming album. The Swedish duo have confirmed that the record will be titled ‘Shaking The Habitual’, and that it will see a release on 8th April 2013.

‘Shaking The Habitual’ is The Knife’s first studio album in seven years, following 2006’s critically lauded ‘Silent Shout’, and will see its release through Brille Records [full disclosure: Dummy’s sister label]. The band will be playing live shows in Europe in 2013, details of which will be announced soon.
