Katy B sees in Xmas day with a special 3 hour show on Rinse…Katy catches up with some special friends and finds out how they are spending Xmas as well as sharing some of her favourite all time tunes.
11:00 – 13:00 – ZINC
“I love Zinc because he’s had a massive part in making my album, On A Mission, and he always tears up the dancefloor when I hear him out.”
13:00 – 15:00 – ONEMAN
“I love Oneman because his sets are always really eclectic, and whenever I download his podcast from the Rinse website I know i’m gonna like the tunes he plays, whether they’re new or old.”
15:00 – 17:00 – PLASTICIAN
“We’ve gotta have some dubstep in the diet on Christmas Day, and Plastician always plays sick anthems, I had to pick him!”
17:00 – 19:00 – CIRCLE
“I love Circle because they remind me of raving to house music. 2011 has been so busy, and I haven’t a great chance to rave this year, so hopefully i’ll be going to the Circle rave on Christmas Day. Circle’s MC is Tippa, my hypeman on stage.”
19:00 – 22:00 – FUNK BUTCHER (CLASSIC FUNKY SET)
“My final DJ is Funk Butcher, and the reason i’ve picked him is because i’ve asked him to play an exclusive Old School Funky set. I’m getting him to take it back to 2007-08, when I was 18 and I started raving. Some of these tunes are some of my favourite tunes in the whole world.”
