New venture from Altered Zones folks seeks cash

New DIY site Ad Hoc has launched on Kickstarter, looking for funds to create "underground music and visual culture publication created for and by a community of music lovers".

Having had an excellent run at the head of Altered Zones,, Emilie Friedlander and Ric Leichtung are going it alone with the launch of Ad Hoc. Continuing the work of their old Pitchfork-owned blog collective, Ric and Emilie are running Ad Hoc as an online zine dedicated to DIY music and culture. Content will be provided by blogs, magazines, writers and artists (sample – Ducktails, James Leyland Kirby, Dan Lopatin), and it looks like a worthwhile project to get behind.

Head here to fund the project and find out more.

[Full disclosure – Dummy’s staff have been asked to contribute]
