New Order to reform without Peter Hook

The seminal Manchester band to play a gig in Paris without their original bassist.

Mark Radcliffe and Stuart Maconie have just announced on their new BBC 6Music show that New Order will reform in October to play a gig in Paris on the 18th, minus Peter Hook. In light of Sumner and Hook’s very public spats over recent years, this should come as little surprise. Instead Bernard Sumner and Stephen Morris wil be rejoined by early member, and Morris’s wife, guitarist/keyboardist Gillian Gilbert for the gig. More news when we have it.
