New Order, James Murphy, Untold join Sonar lineup as RBMA announces artists

Sónar Barcelona reveals more headliners.

As Sónar’s global march continues with events from Sao paulo to Tokyo, it’s satisfying to see Barcelona is still the focus. Holding down the “heritage” slot (previously occupied by Pet Shop Boys and Underworld) will be New Order, without Peter Hook, one presumes. Other highlights from the latest round of announcements are James Murphy and Untold. Also announced are the first round of artists for the always reliable RBMA stage – Brenmar, Spinn & Rashad and NGUZUNGUZU are the down-the-front names there. June 14-16 is the date, Barcelona is the city, and, with an already bursting at the seams lineup, you can and should buy tickets from their website.
